Time Management
Program Objectives:
- Enable delegates to effectively manage their time and consequently the environment in which they
work
- Provide delegates with a series of proven techniques to evaluate tasks based on their importance,
significance and urgency to the business
- Enable delegates to effectively prioritise and delegate their activities
- Provide delegates with the attitude and skills to multi-task within their working
environments
- Enable delegates to effectively manage both internal and external relationships with their and
consequently manage unnecessary interruptions
Program Overview:
Session One
- Developing Perceptual Readiness: Analysis and review of the existing challenges within the business to managing time, and to develop agreement towards the potential value to the business of effective time management
- Time Matrix: Evaluating our work based on significance to the business (urgency Vs importance)
- Prioritising with Effect: Building on the Time Matrix to prioritise our actions
- Client Management: Understanding both our internal and external clients, and developing effective techniques to manage our relationships with them
- Action Planning: Developing an agreed list of actions to implement within the business prior to the second session
Session Two
- L.I.V.E. Reports: Presentations, review and discussion of actions from the previous session
- Multi-tasking: Developing techniques to effectively juggle our activities
- Managing ourselves under Pressure: Negating the impact of stress and pressure on our ability to deal with our activities
- Delegating with Effect: Sharing the workload out amongst all our available resources
- Procrastination: Eliminating delays in our decision making processes
- Creative Planning: Using innovation to reduce the “waste” of non-value added activities, and improving our effectiveness.
- Action Planning: Developing an agreed list of actions to implement within the business into the future
